The first hotel from Thierry Gillier, founder of Zadig & Voltaire. Like in his own home, there’s mid-century furniture and Twomblys, Basquiats, and Picassos on the walls. It’s made up of three adjoining 17th-century townhouses that once housed the Z&V offices.
Fashion people like it because it reminds them of a creative director’s residence and Château Marmont. It’s pulled a few of the Plaza Athénée regulars. Brasserie L’Émil and the bar are always busy. Rhode and Vogue have both thrown parties here
