Takao Inazawa (Le Verre Volé) and Benoît Simon (Le Chateaubriand, Septime) opened Cuisine as a canteen for their friends, most of whom are in the art and food scenes.
They kept the generic name and the old takeaway’s kitschy sign, sort of like Food in New York. It's very 70s inside. Inazawa writes the menu each morning around whatever he feels like cooking and what came in.
