When Dumbo opened its first stand in Pigalle, it was the first time a burger place regularly pulled a crowd that looked like this. Chefs, tourists, and fashion kids all queue up for the same three-item menu. The motto “Quality Burger Joint For All” still holds.
They built it on the simplicity of old-school American diners - evident in the fonts, layout, and the burger itself, which isn’t as easy to replicate as it looks. There are now outposts in the Marais, the 10th, the 11th, and even now Shoreditch, with scene reports saying this is where the cool kids eat.
