Sunn's is an apartment-sized restaurant next door to Dimes that specializes in banchan. It was on a lot of best-new lists in 2025 and in 2026 made NYT's 100 best restaurants in NYC (number 30). It's named after Sunny Lee, the chef and owner.

Her first job in New York was at Blue Hill, a restaurant well known for cooking from the farm at Stone Barns. Her banchan isn't the most traditional. There's sour cream in the potato salad (she's "really not a mayo person") and hot mustard on the namul instead of the usual sesame oil and soy. The produce comes from farms like Choy Division and Norwich Meadows Farm.

Every table orders the Pyrex-baked tteokbokki, which is more or less a Spicy Rigatoni. Eater called it "the least Sunny-like dish at Sunn's."
