Furniture designer Phil Euell turned a former shoe repair shop into a two-table café. Through his studio Euell, he’s designed minimalist pieces and interiors for multiple Le Labo locations. He built every surface here except for the colorful Martino Gamper stools. People don’t mind that there’s usually no room to sit because of the hand stamped to-go cups.
Boot became known for producing some of the best baristas in Paris. One went on to win a world AeroPress competition; another opened Dreamin’ Man. There’s now an outpost in Seoul.
