Claud

New Classic
Claud is Chase Sinzer and Joshua Pinsky's first restaurant together, though most publications label it as a wine bar. They met working at Momofuku Ko, David Chang's former two Michelin star restaurant, and now have Penny upstairs and Stars two blocks away.
Everyone orders the devil's food cake, which Infatuation called "the best piece of chocolate cake you can get in New York City" and is all over TikTok. It has no relation to the Manhattan Blackout at Claude Bakery in the West Village. The NYT waxed poetic about the olive oil shrimp and the tomato mille-feuille (the filling changes with the seasons), while Eater called the agnolotti "the kind of dish that affirms the magic of restaurant cooking."
Resy wrote a guide to getting in during its first year, and four years later it is still a Notify-on kind of restaurant.
