Rumor is on the list of stockists that carry internet fashion girly brands like NiiHAi and Taottao. Most of the customers have a thing for cream top matcha lattes and TikTok, which tends to be how they found the store in the first place. Electronic sleaze duo EQ and Law Roach have shopped here.
Like a lot of these stockists, Rumor serves as an incubator for local designers. It also carries owner Tatiana Cueva's own brand. Cueva has been carried at Cafe Forgot and Tumbao in NYC. Her mesh tabi socks and lace basketball shorts don't look out of place among the racks.
